Proper Driving Posture

Proper driving posture, transforms your journey into an exhilarating symphony of comfort and safety.
Achieving the correct driving seat position is crucial for a safe and comfortable driving experience. To ensure your own safety and minimize the risk of injury in case of an accident, we highly recommend adjusting your driver’s seat to the following optimal position:

Pedal Reach:

Adjust the driver’s seat in a way that allows you to effortlessly press the pedals all the way down while keeping your knee(s) slightly bent. This position ensures better control and responsiveness.

Seatback Angle:

Set the angle of the seatback to an upright position, ensuring that your entire back maintains constant contact with it while driving. This promotes proper posture and helps prevent fatigue.

Steering Wheel Distance:

Adjust the steering wheel so that there is a minimum distance of 10 inches (25 cm) between it and your breastbone. This positioning guarantees a comfortable reach while allowing for easy maneuverability.

If you find it impossible to achieve the desired driving position, we recommend visiting your authorized dealership to inquire about adaptive equipment options. They can assist you in finding solutions tailored to your specific needs.

When adjusting the steering wheel, it is important to position it in a way that the steering wheel and airbag cover are directed towards your chest rather than your face. This ensures optimal safety in case of an impact.

To grip the steering wheel properly, keep your elbow(s) slightly bent and grasp the top of the wheel. This position provides better control and maneuverability while driving.

If your vehicle has adjustable head restraints, aim to align the upper edge of the head restraint with the top of your head. If achieving an exact match is not possible, adjust it as close to this position as you can. Additionally, try to position the head restraint as close to the back of your head as possible for improved comfort and safety.

Always ensure that you fasten and wear safety belts correctly. They are a crucial safety feature that should be used at all times while driving.

Furthermore, keep both of your feet in the footwell, as this allows you to maintain control of the vehicle at all times. By following these guidelines, you can maximize safety and enjoy a more comfortable driving experience.
